Renovations To Ocean County Bishop Memorial Library-
Downtown Toms River, New Jersey
This project involved the total renovation and facelift of the existing Bishop Library. This eighty year old landmark building in the downtown area was fully renovated into exhibit and lecture space. Along with the upgrades of new energy efficient windows, new ADA accessible restroom facilities, and new synthetic slate roofing, the Architectural design remained sensitive to the historic nature of the building.
The Architect worked closely with the library staff during the programming and estimating phases and provided complete construction document and construction administration and close-out services.
Ocean County Firefighter and EMS Training Center.
This $ 6.5 million dollar facility is an orchestration of several building types designed to provide firefighters and EMS volunteers with the state of the art hands on training.
The 13,400 s.f. Classroom / Indoor Training Building houses administrative offices, several classrooms, and an indoor training area used for conducting classes on various fire and emergency service apparatus.
The remainder of the project consists of a series of flexible building types designed to simulate any number of occupancies inherent in the Ocean County area. This project has been completed well within the Counties established construction budget. Full architectural services provided on this project include programming, preliminary design, planning, board presentations, construction documents, bid assistance, and contract construction administration and project close-out.
Ocean County Vehicle Services and Recycling Relocation Project.
This project is a multi-million dollar vehicle services and recycling relocation facility located in Stafford Township for the County of Ocean. The project consists of several building structures including a several multi-bay services facilities, administrative offices and transportation department satellite office. Services provided are programming, preliminary design, construction documents, bid specifications, administration of the bidding process and contractor selection, along with construction observation and project close-out services.
